Observation:
Seedling 104/1 - Rose petal. The most productive seedling from the combination Dozen x Ratatouille. Has excellent growth power. Throws out 2 brushes and easily pulls out this load. At the first fruiting of the bush (three years old), I pulled out 17 bunches in a dense, thick planting. In total, the seedling planted more than 30 inflorescences and many racemes on the stepsons.
The flower is bisexual and exhibits excellent even pollination. Mature with the Dozen, in 2024 on August 20th. In a normal year, I believe it will show an early to medium ripening period. The bunch is beautifully packaged, does not require thinning, weighing 700-1000 g. The berry per seedling is 10-12 g in a slight overload. With proper care, the size of the bunch and berries will increase. The form is soft-seeded with fleshy-crispy pulp. The combination of juice and pulp is well balanced, the taste inherits light fruity tones from Ratatouille.
When cut, the berry releases a pleasant aroma that can be felt when walking near a ripe Ratatouille bush. This scent reminded me of a rose. The rose petal has a very attractive color that stands out qualitatively throughout the vineyard. When fully ripe, the color is bright red, the berry “burns” in the sun and attracts attention.
It should be noted that it has good resistance to fungal diseases. However, the entire combination of Dozen on Ratatouille pleased with its high degree of disease resistance. The seedling is resistant to cracking and at the first fruiting there was no factor of sunburn damage to the berries. Frost resistance is being studied.
