Observation:
Itum-9 is a new Spanish seedless variety that impressed right from the first test clusters on the graft. It stands out from recent seedless introductions primarily due to its vigorous growth, high yield, and ease of care. The vines grow rapidly—featuring long internodes—and mature quickly.
Itum-9 has bisexual flowers; pollination is uniform and free of millerandage (poor fruit set). Flower clusters form starting from the lowest buds, allowing for short pruning in the autumn. The grape clusters are substantial, weighing 800–1,200 g.
The berry is incredibly large, weighing 14–15 g. It has a high seedlessness rating—between class I and class II. The flesh is crisp, with a harmonious flavor, high sugar content, and a slight red rim just beneath the skin. The berry color ranges from purple to dark blue.
It withstood all the precipitation perfectly, with no cracked berries. We're conducting further testing, but I can confidently say that the Spanish selection demonstrated exceptionally high marketability.
