Observation:
The new Spanish sultana variety, Itum-10, was a hit from the very first signal clusters after grafting. It differs qualitatively from the latest sultana varieties primarily in its strong growth, high yield, and ease of care. The vines grow quickly (with long internodes) and ripen quickly.
Itum-10's flowers are bisexual, pollinated evenly and without peas. Clusters form from the first buds, and can be lightly pruned in the fall. The clusters are heavy, weighing 800-1200 g.
The berries are very large, weighing 8-10 g on signal clusters. The seedlessness class is high, between first and second. The berries are crisp, with a harmonious flavor, high sugar content, and a small red border behind the skin. The berry color ranges from purple to dark blue.
It withstood all the precipitation perfectly, with no cracked berries. We're conducting further testing, but I can confidently say that the Spanish selection demonstrated exceptionally high marketability.
