Observation:
A new variety from Alexander Ivanovich Chulkov bears the exotic name "Dragon's Tooth." It is a seedling developed using "Manicure Finger" (Japan) as a parent. The vine is vigorous, and unlike the "Manicure Finger" parent variety, it produces high yields starting from the very first leaves.
After the May frosts, there were two clusters on each shoot. The flowers are perfect (bisexual). The cluster is attractive, weighing 600–1,000 g or more. The berries are purple, finger-shaped, and 47–53 mm long, with an average weight of 16 g. The flavor is harmonious, and the flesh is meaty.
"Dragon's Tooth" boasts excellent marketability and visual appeal. It is difficult to specify the exact ripening period for 2026, but the preliminary estimate is 115–120 days. The vine matures early and ripens along its entire length.
