Observation:
Tango seedless is a new addition to my vineyard for 2026. It is a successful variety bred by Alexander Khudoley. It features vigorous growth and incredible productivity.
On each shoot, Tango sets 2–3 huge flower clusters and produces numerous bunches along the entire length of the vine. Even after severe spring frosts, this variety easily manages to bear a full crop load.
In the year the graft was made, the initial clusters weighed between 900 and 2,000 g, with the largest one tipping the scales at 2,420 g! It is truly a record-holder in terms of cluster size. I surmise that seedless Luchistiy is the pollen parent of Tango. The most significant differences between Tango and Luchistiy are that Tango ripens 2–3 weeks earlier, has larger berries, offers greater resistance to cracking, and exhibits superior pollination.
Unlike the 'Luchistyy' variety, the cluster structure is cylindrical-conical, with uniform filling and no gaps. The cluster is very long—45–60 cm—and weighs 1.5–2 kg, with some specimens exceeding 3 kg. The flower is bisexual.
The color is pale pink. The berries are large and elongated, weighing 7–8 g. The flesh is meaty and crisp, with a subtle Muscat flavor. It is a Class III seedless variety.
It is also worth noting its high resistance to cracking. Over the course of a week and a half, we had rain three times (approximately 11 mm each time), yet not a single berry cracked.
